LPGA-USGA Girls Golf (Girls Golf) was honored at the recent PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla., when it was recognized by the International Network of Golf (ING) for outstanding achievement in the category of player development.  LPGA Foundation Executive Director Patricia Browning and Girls Golf Programs Manager Sherry Greene accepted the award at the ING Industry Honors Presentation Press Conference on behalf of the program.  Winners were chosen by approximately 500 ING members.

Phil. PAL 2006

Since 2001, the ING nod has been awarded to numerous golf industry initiatives that have contributed to continued growth of the game.  Recipients are chosen based upon their demonstrated devotion to introducing more people to the game. Past awardees include Play Golf America, The First Tee National School Program, JuniorLinks.com, and Button Hole.

Thank you to all of the site directors and volunteers who work hard to introduce the game to young girls throughout the country.  This award goes to you!
